CROYDON BRANCH

Branch Chairman: Jeremy Harrison (Acting)       Branch Secretary: Pat Dennison Click to send email

Our meetings are held on Thursdays (normally the last of the month),
and take place in the
Primary Room at the United Reformed Church Hall,
Addiscombe Grove, Croydon, CR0 5LP.

This is 3 minutes walk from East Croydon Railway Station, local bus routes and Tramlink,
with car parking available on site.

Meetings start at 19.30 and finish by 22.00
with a break for refreshments.
A collection is made to defray expenses (recommended donation 4.00)
Meetings are open to all with an interest in Railways: visitors are always welcome.

As The Croydon Branch AGM, due to have been held on 26th March, is at a critical time for the Branch (quite apart from Corona Virus), so it is hoped it will be possible to hold it as part of our meeting on 25th June, as decisions need to taken regarding the future of the Branch, but this is obviously dependent on the Corona Virus situation develops.

The need for these decisions follows the decision of Pat Dennison to stand down from the Branch Committee, as he announced last year. While Jeremy Harrison is willing to continue, he is unable to run the Branch, and its meetings, single handed, and hence there is a need for one or (ideally) more members to step forward for the Committee, and to help run Branch Meetings.

If nobody does so the Branch will be unable to continue, and will have to close.
If anybody is willing to come forward, please could they contact either Jeremy Harrison or Pat Dennison (at LCGB.Croydon@gmail.com) - do not leave it until the AGM, as this may not happen!
