Our meetings are held on Thursdays (normally the last of the month),
and take place in the
Primary Room at the United Reformed Church Hall,
Addiscombe Grove, Croydon, CR0 5LP.

This is 3 minutes walk from East Croydon Railway Station, local bus routes and Tramlink, with car parking available on site.

Meetings start at 19.15 and finish by 22.00
with a break for refreshments at approximately 20.30.

David Eatwell author and photographer comes to the branch with his dramatic slides of steam working hard in the snow.

Charles Firminger presents another selection of his excellent slides capturing a glimpse of a railway scene now gone.

Thursday 30th September 2010 'The Bredgar and Wormshill Light Railway’
“Narrow Gauge Steam in the Garden of England” Bill Best comes to Croydon to give a presentation on this railway and its associated collections.

Thursday 28th October 2010 ' Branch Photographic competition and members photos'
Bring your best slides, prints and Digital images to show and compete in the annual branch competition.

Thursday 25th November 2010 'Crossrail Driving Ahead'
Patrick Griffin gives us the background to this the latest major rail project in the capital. The scope - what is in and what is not in, the process of getting approval and funding, the organisation for delivery, and an update on progress.
