Our meetings are held on Thursdays (normally the last of the month),
and take place in the
Primary Room at the United Reformed Church Hall,
Addiscombe Grove, Croydon, CR0 5LP.

This is 3 minutes walk from East Croydon Railway Station, local bus routes and Tramlink,
with car parking available on site.

Meetings start at 19.30 and finish by 22.00
with a break for refreshments.
A collection is made to defray expenses (recommended donation 3.50)
Meetings are open to all with an interest in Railways: visitors are always welcome.

Brian Garvin comes to show us a selection of images from across the Atlantic, from his travels there in recent years.

We also plan to participate in the next Croydon Railbrains inter Society quiz.

David Jackman returns to recount more of his travels through Europe, from Sicily to Hungary.


Thursday 28th February 150 Years of St Pancras Station
Lester Hillman comes to tell us the story of arguably London’s best terminus, architecturally speaking, in recent years completely redeveloped.

Your chance to speak out and show off! Both conventional and digital projectors will be available.

Steam South of the Border in the 1950s and 60s.
David Kelso returns to present black and white images of the good old days in England.


Thursday 30th May Named Trains of the Midland Main Line
Ray Schofield brings a commemoration of the Midland Railway’s London Extension, and its named trains.


Thursday 27th June Photos from the Peter Bland Collection
Bryan Cross brings a selection of photographs taken by the late Peter Bland, a frequent visitor to the branch.

The Premier Line
Stuart Dennison returns to relate the story of the London & North Western Railway.


Thursday 31st October The History of French Railways
Michael Bunn comes to tell the story of railways in France, from horse drawn wagons to the TGV.
