Eddie Bellass, founding member of the North West Branch,
sadly passed away on 1st April.

A member of many railway societies, he will be well known to many in the north and beyond. In particular, he was a key figure in the running of numerous special trains from the north west to every part of the country, and beyond, from the 1960s to the 1980s.

His funeral will be held on 15th April at St. Helens Crematorium at 15:00

It will be followed by light refreshments at Heald Farm Court, Sturgess Street, Newton-le-Willows, WA12 9HN from 16:15.

Heald Farm Court is the retirement complex where Eddie & Margaret have lived for a number of years and for catering purposes the family would like to know the number attending after the funeral.

Could you please let Neville Bond, Branch Secretary ( know ASAP if you or anyone you have told about the above will be attending after the funeral
